Popularly known as………….

" Kangrewali Mata," this seat of deity is powerful, so much so, as to conquer the enemy. Vajra means thunderbolt and the goddess, who bears it, is known as Vajreshwari Devi.

The temple houses miraculous idols of Lord Bhairon and the famous devotee Dhyanu-Bhakt. History reveals that this Shrine and for remained always invincible for the enemies, though repeatedly attacked by some Mughal and Afghan Invaders.

DHYANU - a popular name among the devotees of the goddess - has become an ideal. Any story, poetry , debate or seminar on the subject , is incomplete without his reference . The temple corridors are decorated with his pictures and idols. His sacrifice is always remembered as source of inspiration to the devotees of the great goddess.

Kangra is situated at a distance of 53 kms from 'Jwala Mukhi' and is an important city of Himachal Pradesh. It takes about 2 hours to reach by bus, from Jwala Mukhi and 3 hours of journey by bus,from pathankot to holy temple.Kangra is connected by bus  to all important places of Himacal Pradesh.
